I know you're still there Even though I can't feel you, where I was once greeted by your lively rythm I have numbed your existence with my wreckless gambles As a result of my poor judgement and commitments You now fear the very thing you once declared as your purpose The melody of the rythm you danced to Your warmth and light of what the Sun is to the Earth and Moon Now you hide lost in cold darkness and in silence We've lost the ability to see beauty beyond the scars we carry All we see is hurt and pain, that's our tragedy We're terrified of ever trusting again But worst yet, you have lost trust in me You now argue with me on every decision I don't blame you, but I miss our friendship I place my hand on my chest with the hope you'll reach out back to me I'm dead without you and can't feel anything anymore Heart, the day that I lost you, I lost myself I lost Love...uThando.

It took us going through everything we've been through to see you clearly For years I was stuck in what was and the fear of what will be But all along you were staring right back at me It took a turn of events to change my direction of perspective And there you were before me, it was like looking in the mirror I realized heaven and the best me in you Love I've been seeking in wrong places was right besides me all along I just never took the time before to look closer at the beauty you really are I love every broken piece, crack and scar that makes you You're not flawless, none of us are, but you are a beautiful imperfection Like a rare work of art or a gem carved by the earth's vibration I will cherish and value you always for the treasure you truly are Because you are a blessing dawned upon me by God, Kings & Queens of the Universe A true invalueable gift of heaven and earth I wouldn't dare call you my queen because her domain is physical and materialist...

Like Zombies

Beneath the flesh and physical beauty is a withering soul One who once believed but the darkness of life stole Now fear takes dominance and self-solitude progress Happiness’s a sojourn, most days have become a stress Material wealth is first priority and what others think or say while the spirit we ignore and all it’s needs we keep at bay For all that s eems important now is to serve our human sentence When the unknown truth is our spiritual growth in this journey is of our essence We instead define ourselves of qualities that are the least of importance We hover this earth in unruly patterns For nature we have brought to it’s demise over our selfish motives We explore, we destroy, in search of unknown purpose In foreign lands, artificial sources and science glories We find solace in our material success stories We’re lost we know it but we make it the least of our worries As we’re here to take and hover this life like zombies
