Genesis

Confusing conferences proceed deep within
With consistant voices of spirits whispering to me
Of the greatness in me that's a mighty force yet to be seen
But I shiver at the shadowing height of the responsibilty
As I stand a man of past destructive mistakes & more yet to come
Forever questioning my competence
But at the same time driven by the thrill of my purpose
Everyday living in my acuity
Letting every act of life polish my acumen
Only now my chase of elusive dreams seems auspicious
Establishing myself to a paradigm of success
With a mind and heart to raise a nation
And always keeping true to the original man (myself)

I now carve these words on stones of my genesis
To hold my ground throughout the test of time
